It is imperative that we vote for candidates who support marijuana reform, and that we support future marijuana initiatives. We are in the wake of change and we control the momentum of the movement. Let your voice be heard and always vote pro-pot. In the meantime, be sure to visit 420-friendly states to show your support for marijuana reform (and to get a nice buzz on, too).

Charlotte's Web is a high CBD content Sativa dominant hybrid strain named after Charlotte Figi, a young Colorado girl with severe epilepsy whose constant seizures were stopped by this strain. This lifesaving strain brought public attention to a cause that has helped secure medical marijuana laws in more than a dozen states. Charlotte's Web won't really get you high as its THC content is substantially low. However, this strain has a high  CBD content that can be 17% or higher, making this one of the most powerful marijuana medications available.  This strain is highly effective at treating pediatric seizure disorders, while it also helps with pain, muscle spasms, and headaches. The overall effect is entirely physical, with no intoxication. This strain has a strong pine smell, with floral tones and an earthy taste.

Saskatchewan: Saskatchewan—sweet, sweet, Saskatchewan—is going to have four stores open come weed day and none of them will be in the province’s big (well, big for Saskatchewan) cities. Eventually, there will be (possibly) 51 stores open but, come October 17, you will only be able to get weed in Yorkton, the RM of Edenwold, Battleford, and North Battleford. A couple more may be open—including some in Moose Jaw and Saskatoon—but the CBC reports these owners don’t know for sure.

On Oct. 17, 2018, Canada will become the second and largest country with a legal national marijuana marketplace. (AP Photo/Ted S. Warren) ORG XMIT: BCTW109
Purple Death is an Indica dominant hybrid (70% Indica/30% Sativa) strain created as a descendant of the hugely popular Bubba Kush strain. Its potent sedating effects are great for relieving pain or helping one relax after a long stressful day. Purple Death  has a high THC level and considered one of the stronger Indica hybrids, which make it great for vegging out and popping on the tunes or watching a flick. Be cautious as this cannabis can leave you in a comatose state for several hours. Purple Death has an aroma of musky, earthy pine, and a taste of spicy lemon with a hint of pungent earth upon exhale.
Hybrid strains are the best of both worlds for many people. Hybrid strains are a cross of two or more strains of cannabis, allowing the desired effects of both Indica and Sativa strains in one hybrid strain. For example, let’s say a person has arthritis pain. A hybrid strain would allow him to reap the benefits of Indica’s pain relief without becoming too drowsy.
